The Brews

Blues & Brews has long been a showcase for craft beer as much as music. The five brewer showcase tasting sessions will feature 28 breweries pouring hundreds of styles—from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts—all under the crisp mountain sun. You’ll also find multiple bars—including a bar serving only collaborative brews—as well as a multi-course beer pairing dinner featuring modern mountain dishes and draughts. Along the way, you’ll experience the kind of mountain-town hospitality that makes Telluride unforgettable.

Blues & Brews is built for more than just music lovers. Festival mornings kick off with free yoga sessions at Elks Park. Families will appreciate the Rainbow Kids Area and activities, while art lovers can catch live painting by Scramble Campbell. And when the sun goes down, the energy shifts indoors to cozy late-night shows across Telluride.

Hungry? The 2025 food lineup is stacked with local favorites—from barbecue to global street eats—that pair perfectly with your beer in hand.

Beyond the Festival: Things to Do in Telluride

Whether you’re driving in from the Front Range or making this your big fall getaway, Telluride rewards those who linger. Here are a few ways to round out your weekend:

Ride the Gondola: The free gondola connecting Telluride and Mountain Village is an experience in itself—especially at sunset when the San Juan Mountains are bathed in gold. For night owls, the gondola is open until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Hike to Bridal Veil Falls: Colorado’s tallest free-falling waterfall is a 30-minute drive from town and a must-see in early fall. Reach the falls via a hike ranging from one to four miles round trip that, of course, feature incredible views along the way.

Explore Downtown Telluride: Browse the indie shops, art galleries, and cozy cafés that make this mountain town feel like something out of a storybook. From custom hat shops to bike, ski and snowboard shops, you’ll find Colorado culture at every turn.

Soak in History: Stop by the Telluride Historical Museum in a restored 1896 miners’ hospital to learn how this rugged mining town became a cultural hub, as well as highlights from the town’s skiing and transportation histories.

Take a Scenic Drive: Extend your trip with a detour over Last Dollar Road or Ophir Pass for even more jaw-dropping alpine scenery.
