Let some of Boulder’s best restaurants do the hard work for you — go ahead, treat yourself, you deserve it. Below, you’ll find some of the Boulder County restaurants that are doing Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals or takeout.
Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar
Jax is once again doing its beloved Feast of the Seven Fishes celebration in Boulder on Christmas Eve. For $85 per person, you can enjoy a five-course meal featuring seven different types of fish. This year’s menu looks absolutely delicious: tuna conserva, stuffed charred calamari, little gems and chicories, grilled branzino, and honey soak struffoli. You can also order from the regular dinner menu if you’d like. Reservations are available online.
West End Tavern
Pre-order your holiday meal from the West End Tavern and enjoy the restaurant’s succulent honey-smoked ham, sides and pies from the comfort of your own home. Be sure to get your orders in by 5 p.m. on Dec. 21 and mark your calendar for pick-up between 5 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. on Dec. 24.
The Greenbriar Inn
The Greenbriar looks absolutely stunning with its holiday lights and decorations. Make your way there on Christmas Eve for the Greenbriar’s annual dinner buffet, which runs from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Prices are $85 for adults or $40 for children ages three to 12. Choose from scrumptious dishes like lobster bisque, roast beer, dijon maple-glazed carrots, roasted duck, chive whipped potatoes and more. And be sure to save room for dessert: The Greenbriar goes all out, with a spread featuring eggnog creme brulee, cherry ganache chocolate tarts, buche de noel, cookies and more.
Hotel Boulderado
Hotel Boulderado is simply magical around the holidays. Make a reservation for a Christmas Day meal at Spruce Farm & Fish (brunch and dinner), the Corner Bar (all day) or the hotel’s mezzanine buffet (all day).
Frasca Food and Wine
Join the culinary pros at Frasca Food and Wine on Christmas Eve for their Feast of the Seven Fishes, which includes six courses of seafood for $215 per person. Reservations are available from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Jill’s Restaurant & Bistro at St Julien Hotel & Spa
Warm yourself by the massive lobby fireplace at St Julien Hotel & Spa, then indulge at Jill’s Restaurant and Bistro. The restaurant is hosting Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas brunch and Christmas dinner, with menu items like braised beef short ribs and pan-seared salmon.
Centro Mexican Kitchen
Skip the traditional Christmas foods and treat your tastebuds to a soul-warming platter of paella from Centro instead. Pre-order before noon on Dec. 20 for pickup from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 23. Once you pick it up, all you have to do is heat and serve. Each paella platter can feed four to six people and includes littleneck clams, PEI mussels, shrimp and lobster tails, all situated among flavorful saffron rice, peas, carrots and chorizo.
