Whether you’ve come to Boulder specifically to check out the variety of weed we have available or if you’ve never gotten high in your life and just want to give it a try, Boulder has a dispensary for you.
From dispensaries with quirky atmospheres to top-quality products, we’ve seen it all, we’ve smoked it all, and we’ve made up our minds. Here they are: five of our favorite dispensaries that every visitor to Boulder should experience. They are listed in no particular order or ranking.
Magnolia Road
1750 30th St., unit 84A and B
With a variety of edibles, tinctures, topicals, concentrates and gear, Magnolia Road is one of the best in Boulder. But where it really stands out is the pricing structure. While many dispensaries have a set price for bud, Magnolia Road has a three-tiered system, so you’ll be sure to find something to fit your needs no matter what your budget is.
Village Green Society
2043 16th St.
Housed in an 1800s Victorian home, The Village Green Society is more than just its products; it’s a full experience. From walking through the beautifully landscaped garden to making your purchase, you’ll feel right at home. The customer service is impeccable, and the product, including bud, edibles, topicals and CBD, is high quality. If you’re new to the marijuana scene and you’re looking for a comforting, welcoming place to get your feet wet, The Village Green Society is a great place to start.
Boulder Wellness Center
5420 Arapahoe Ave., unit F
With hand-watered, hand-trimmed, non-GMO, pesticide-free product, the Boulder Wellness Center offers bud from plants that are the pinnacle of clean and eco-friendly. As a grower-owned shop, the focus is on the plant, and at that, the center excels. But it manages to do all this while maintaining a large selection of bud, edibles and more, and keeping the prices at a reasonable rate. This is all-around one of the best shops in Boulder and a must-visit for anyone looking for a high quality, customer-centric experience.

Helping Hands
1021 Pearl St.
Helping Hands is a Boulder favorite and it’s easy to see why. The colorful, hippie-esque, Beatles-Yellow-Submarine vibe you get from the signage and shop practically pulls you. And once you’re in, you won’t be disappointed. With a variety of strains and even more edibles, you’re sure to find something you enjoy on the shelves. But the real kicker? This is one of the few dispensaries in Boulder where you can buy marijuana seeds. And not just one or two strains. It currently has more than 15 strains of seeds available for sale. If you’re interested in legally growing your own marijuana plants, head here.
Fresh Baked
2539 Pearl St.
Some dispensaries stand out for quantity. Others for their low cost. Fresh Baked has a variety of products. And the product is affordable. But what really sets it apart? The quality of what Fresh Baked puts on the shelves. It grows all its own plants, and it competes with the best of the best. With winning strains in The Rooster, High Times and Colorado Cup strain competitions, you’re sure to get a product that leaves you happy and, well, high.
