Summer Lodging Specials and Packages

Facebook

Summer is now in full swing! If you’ve got friends and family coming into town (or if you just want to treat yourself to a little staycation), we’ve got some good news: There are tons of really fun, creative specials and packages happening at hotels in Boulder and Denver right now. Check them out below!

‘Bee the Change’ – St Julien Hotel and Spa

We all know just how important pollinators, like bees, are to our world’s food system. You can help support these little yellow and black beauties by booking a stay at St Julian Hotel and Spa, which has a new “Bee” the Change package. When you plan a staycation, you’ll get a bottle of locally produced mead (wine made from honey!), as well as a pot of whipped honey fine sea salt body polish for exfoliating your skin. On top of that, your reservation will include a $25 donation to The Bee Conservancy, a nonprofit conservation group focused on protecting bees.

With this package, St Julien is drawing inspiration from its own two on-site bee colonies, which can have up to 60,000 bees at their peak and create 100 pounds of honey each year. Now that’s buzz-worthy!

Out of This World — Halcyon

Situated in Cherry Creek, Halcyon is rolling out the red carpet for Swifties who are attending the Denver show of the Eras Tour this weekend. But even if you aren’t going to the performance, you can still take advantage of one of the hotel’s newest packages, called “Out of This World” in honor of Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station exhibition opening in Denver. Once you buy your tickets to Meow Wolf, book a stay at Halycon for the same dates.

You’ll get: 10 percent off your room rate; a free ride to and from Meow Wolf in Halcyon’s Range Rover; two welcome cocktails in Local Jones, plus welcome pop rocks; LED party glasses; and CBD pour-over coffee from the Kitchen Counter in the morning.

And when you get back from seeing the exhibition, you can keep the magic going by heading up to Halcyon’s rooftop for a little stargazing. How dreamy does that sound?

Shop & Snack – Hotel Boulderado

Calling all foodies: This package at the Hotel Boulderado is perfect for you! Called Shop & Snack, it includes luxury lodging and a $50 Downtown Boulder gift card so you can indulge at whichever Boulder restaurant strikes your fancy. But the best part of this deal is the picnic lunch for two. Yes, a full-blown picnic to take out with you on the hiking trail or the beach at Boulder Reservoir. You can choose between a prime rib sandwich with horseradish aioli; a sweet potato sandwich with beet slaw, cumin aioli, mint, parsley, basil and feta; or a grilled chicken sandwich with smoked gouda, arugula, tomato and black pepper aioli. On top of your main, you’ll also get Boulder Chips, fresh berries, house-made trail mix and an apple, kale and quinoa salad to share. Yum!

Fans in the Stands – The Curtis

Play ball! If you’re heading down to cheer on the Rockies any time this summer, consider checking into The Curtis. This hotel is offering a special Fans in the Stands package to help you make the most of baseball season. When you book this one, you’ll get to stay on the hotel’s so-called Floor of Champions, which is one of 13 hyper-themed floors on the property. You’ll also get a
$50 brunch credit at The Corner Office, 50% off self-parking and a game day pack with cold beers.

Topgolf – Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel

Not necessarily a package, but you can now make a reservation at the new Topgolf Swing Suite at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel — which we think is worth planning a fun little weekend getaway around in its own right! What is a “swing suite,” you ask? In this case, it’s an interactive golf simulator that you can reserve by the hour for groups. It’s located just off the lobby next to the Bezel cocktail lounge and has two separate bays, each with a variety of virtual games. You can also enjoy lounge seating, high-definition televisions and food and beverage service inside the bays. Bring your own club or borrow some from the hotel! Up to eight people can hang out at a time, making this ideal for your next bachelor or bachelorette party, work happy hour or family reunion.

The Sheraton also just completed an $80 million refresh, so there’s never been a better time to book one of its 1,238 guest rooms.
