Staying cool during the summer in Boulder is a priority, and Boulder Creek is the perfect place to do just that. It is about 5.5 miles long with different sections for kayaking, tubing or floating down the creek. One of Boulder’s favorite pastimes is tubing. The Boulder Creek Path runs along Boulder Creek for walking, running and biking. Be careful and pay attention to the bike traffic. Along the creek path, you will find a number of unique parks that are all quite different. There are few parks along the creek: Eben G. Fine Park, Evert Pierson Kid’s Fishing Pond, Central Park with the bandshell and, downstream, Scott Carpenter Park featuring a new beautiful outdoor swimming pool.
