The Boulderado’s Birthday

The biggest New Year’s celebration in Boulder is at the historic Hotel Boulderado. Every year, the beautiful hotel holds a NYE party in the mezzanine, beneath the colorful stained glass ceiling.

The historic Hotel Boulderado will turn 110 this New Year’s Eve. The hotel is gearing up to sell a limited number of tickets to quite the opulent birthday party, complete with ice carvings, an extensive buffet, champagne, live music and a dramatic balloon drop at midnight.

If you can’t get tickets to the Hotel Boulderado’s bash — or you’re looking for something a little more casual but still in the heart of the action — there’s always the speakeasy-style party downstairs in License No. 1. Tickets are much cheaper (starting at $25) and include a live DJ, signature drink specials, light bites, party favors, a free photo booth, games, souvenir shot glasses and a champagne toast at midnight.

Havana Meets The Big Easy

The St. Julien Hotel and Spa’s New Year’s party is a Cuban-New Orleans theme. The party starts at 6:30 p.m. with live music by the Grown Ass Man Band. At 9 p.m., Quemando starts the salsa. Live music continues, with Cuban street food and Cajun classics. Enjoy the ice bar, party favors and at midnight, a champagne toast with dueling balloon drops. Tickets: $99 per person or $185 for a couple.
