In the Welsh seaside village of Llareggub, the citizens are just beginning to wake up from another night of long, lost dreams. As a day in the town unfolds right before the audience’s eyes, the lyrical writing of Dylan Thomas portrays the characters in a way that is comical, brutally honest, lively, and moving. Originally a 1950’s radio drama, Under Milk Wood has been successfully adapted to the stage, each time, performed uniquely to fit its surroundings. The townspeople reveal their truest and innermost thoughts and desires without holding back. Take a journey into Llareggub, and see how each individual character deals with the cards they’ve been handed in their everyday lives.
