The comedy show takes place on April 25th in the Williams Village Center. Doors open at 7:30, and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5. We look forward to seeing you!

Lane Moore is an award-winning comedian, actor, writer, and musician. She was hailed by The New York Times as “ingenious”…the way she manipulates tone and pace reveals an artist supremely confident in her form.” She is the host of “I Thought It Was Just Me” podcast on Patreon. Her first book, “How To Be Alone: If You Want To And Even If You Don’t” became a #1 bestseller and was praised as one of the best books of the year by The New York Times, New York Magazine, NPR, Good Morning America, Fast Company, Marie Claire, and many others.  Moore also gave a TEDx Talk based on the book, called How To Be Alone.

Her second book, “You Will Find Your People”, was released in May 2023. Her comedy show “Tinder Live!” is regarded as one of the best comedy shows around and has been praised by The New York Times, Spin Magazine, Entertainment Tonight, CBS, Time Out New York, and New York Magazine. As a musician, Moore is the front person and songwriter in the band “It Was Romance,” which BUST Magazine named the Best Band of 2015, and Billboard named one of 16 Female-Fronted Bands You Should Know. She is a prolific writer for The Onion, The New Yorker Shouts and Murmurs, The Washington Post, Teen Vogue, InStyle, McSweeney’s, GQ, Glamour, and Playboy. In her time as the Sex and Relationships Editor at Cosmopolitan, she won a GLAAD award for her groundbreaking work, championing diverse, inclusive coverage and an appearance on @midnight with a segment based on her popular work. 

 

Venue Rules Include:

Wristbands will be granted upon entry. Wristbands are needed for entry to the event. No re-entry will be allowed once attendees enter the venue and leave. No backpacks or bags larger than 18″ x 12″ x 4″, no skateboards, no weapons (including concealed carry), no professional photography or audio/video recording, no smoking/vaping inside the venue, no alcohol or other drugs. Empty, non-glass water bottles will be allowed. Attendees can expect airport-like security. No bags larger than 4.5” x 6.5” will be allowed; all bags within this size range will be subject to search. Additional event policies include no skateboards, no weapons (including concealed carry), no professional photography or videography, no alcohol or illegal drugs, and no glass or metal water bottles. Empty plastic water bottles, as are factory-sealed, unopened plastic single-use, non-alcoholic beverages, are allowed. Water bottle refill stations will be available at the event.
