Join Local Theater Company for a week that unleashes your inner actor with theater games!
Theater Games – The Art of Play invites campers to collaborate on the creation of characters, scenarios, and settings through unique and exciting theater games. Camp counselors use the art of play–active engagement with a sense of joy, wonder and discovery–to foster a sense of community and guide campers to better understand their place and value in the world. They also develop a camper’s ability to craft their perspective and speak proudly in public. Theater games invite students to shush that inner critic and participate with abandon. In doing so, they learn that some of the best discoveries are happy “accidents” that can only be found in the brainstorm.
