Swing Spontane @ The Laughing Goat

Swing Spontane consists of Aaron Walker (guitar), Gary Sloan (bass), and Sarah Burger (guitar and vocals). Aaron Walker is an established gypsy jazz guitarist and composer. He heads up the bands, Swing Je’Taime and the Aaron Walker Trio. He has toured all over the world and has three excellent albums. Bounce, which came out in March 2018, is his latest. Gary Sloan is an established professional bass player who is known as one of the best in Colorado. Sarah is one of the few women gypsy jazz guitarists in the world who plays lead and rhythm guitar, and also sings. Although the music of Django Reinhart is the main inspiration for Swing Spontane’s music, the group plays a lot of modern gypsy jazz by artists such as Gonzalo Bergara and Stochelo Rosenberg. They also play many of Sarah’s compositions and Aaron’s originals from his album, Bounce.
