Event Details

Step
into our exhibit Beer Here! by attending this On-Tap Talk with author
and Colorado Book Award finalist Ed Sealover. Ed Sealover’s 2016 “Colorado Excursions with History, Hikes and Hops,”
guided visitors on a 30-day tour of the Centennial State, stopping
daily at one historical site, one natural site and one drinking site. In
this presentation, Sealover explains how today’s traveler can dive into
the state’s history at both familiar and off-the-beaten-path locations
while also drinking in the state’s brewing culture. Bring a notepad and a
thirst — your road trip awaits you.

Bio: Ed Sealover spent
20 years writing about beer for the Denver Business Journal and the
Colorado Springs Gazette and is the author of two books: “Colorado
Excursions with History, Hikes and Hops” and “Mountain Brew: A Guide to
Colorado’s Breweries.” A chronicler of the craft-beer industry since it
was known as the “microbrew industry,” he won 140 awards over the course
of a 28-year career in journalism, including the 2020 Journalist of the
Year award from Colorado’s Society of Professional Journalists for his
coverage of the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the business
community. He lives in Wheat Ridge with his wife and two children and
still explores both historical sites and breweries.
