Event Details

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are chasing Jorge, bumping his car to prevent him from reaching the Catholic church up ahead. Jorge takes a sharp left into the church parking lot. ICE slams on the breaks. ICE does not enter a church. It is a line they don’t want to cross.

Ded is an Albanian immigrant wanted by ICE who lives in sanctuary. He is also the sole caretaker of his wife who has Multiple Sclerosis. He can’t allow himself to be deported, otherwise who will take care of his wife? He cannot leave her. He will not cross that line.

What lines are you willing to cross? Join Motus for an experiment in improvisational theater, community reflection and strategies for sharing stories of sanctuary. Together, we’ll collaborate to discover how we can be part of the solution to a human rights crisis. Each night a different story and a different challenge.
