Melmo and the Middlemen formed in 2016 as a vehicle for well known area stage actress Melissa Jane Morris and steel player JB Arnold to bring the progressive Americana of the Troubadour and Luckenbach eras to the local scene. Guitar phenom Larry Warner and ex Mama Raven members Bill Garcia and Cole Reeves joined in to give it a bluesy twist and the result is an intoxicating stew of covers and originals that’s getting attention up and down the front range.
