Marc Emerson Townes of Kind Hearted Strangers @ The Laughing Goat

Folk/Rock/AmericanaBoulder, COFrom the mind of local songwriter and Virginia transplant Marc Townes, Kind Hearted Strangers bring a mix of original folk rock music along with Americana and southern roots classics that have been influential to the band. Townes is paired up with fellow Stranger, percussionist/vocalist Brian Ireland of Something Corporate and Live Oak Revue, who he met at a spontaneous open mic performance; and their good friend, guitarist Kevin Hinder of local Boulder funk/rock group Envy Alo, who’s skillful and dynamic embellishments add another unique layer to the band’s raw authentic sound.
