Louise, Lately is a singer/songwriter based out of Denver, Colorado. Inspired by the soaring melodies and lyricism of Indie-Folk and Americana artists the likes of Joni Mitchell, Emmylou Harris and Bon Iver, her confessional lyrics, sometimes brash and hopeful, sometimes raw and exposed, explore the experience of being young in a world filled with uncertainty. From the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee, to hidden street corners in London, audiences have been spellbound by her music. Guitar led melodies and soulful piano accompanies her voice through gritty depths and clear, floating highs, the resulting sound a unique blend of Folk-Rock evocative of a wisdom beyond her years.
