Kush @ The Laughing Goat

Kush is a Boulder based band featuring funky guitar lines and virtuoso world music beats, with deep ties to The Meters, Victor Wooten and John Scofield. Kush’s contemporary funk and soul style and deft arrangements have landed them a recording grant and spotlight at Altitude Studios, garnering critical acclaim with local venues and music aficionados.

Kush is a meeting of minds between guitarist Steve Ehrhardt and percussionist Zay Rios. Steve gained notoriety by performing with local artists like Art Lande, Corn Maze, and Kronen. Launching out on his own, he joined forces with Zay Rios who has an enormous pedigree in the African and Latin American music circles nation wide. The result is a fusion that will make you want to move your feet or sit back and enjoy the vibes!
