As a boy, Jonny performed a magic act aside his father on stages in the small towns of Texas where he learned a bit about performance, audiences, and points of view. One day, out chasing love between Austin and Denver, he found a guitar, took a moment to pause on the road, and wrote some lyrics in the sand. His equipment’s gotten better, but the methodology has remained in tact. He’s a poet, novelist, essayist, and you’ll feel like you’ve known him for years.
