James and The Rize @ The Laughing Goat

James and The Rize is a band influenced by many musical genres from Folk, Country, Bluegrass, Rock and even Classical music. Although we don’t place ourselves into one specific lane, one might call us a progressive Folk and Americana group. The vision for this band was to bring original songwriting together with a group of musicians that have varied musical backgrounds and influences and to use a diverse, multi instrumental approach to our arrangements. Simply put, we came together to play what each of us hears and feels in the music and together, wrap each song with a range of instrumentation. Our individual sound continues to emerge and evolve through multi generations of music and experience.
