A distant cousin in our cosmic neighborhood yet so similar we could be siblings. Mars is often favorably compared to Earth and has captivated our attention for decades. We will explore how the red planet, ominous and fascinating alike, may hold the key to understanding our own planet. Join us as we learn more about our differences and similarities with our cosmic cousin with Dr. Stephen Mojzsis of Colorado University.

About the Speaker: Dr. Stephen Mojzsis, CU Boulder

Dr. Stephen J. Mojzsis is a professor of Geology and director of the Collaborative for Research in Origins (CriO) in the department of Geological Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder. His fields of interest include geobiology, geochronology and cosmochemistry.
