Event Details

In this very special week of textile exploration we will introduce campers to the world of Fiber Arts. Campers will begin by learning to use wool roving to felt 3-D sculptures. We will then teach campers multiple embroidery stitches which they will practice, eventually creating a design from an original sketch. They will sew gorgeous linen zippered throw pillows using their new felting and embroidery skills. In addition, we will teach campers how to use a sewing machine and sew several creations throughout the week.

Included in the camp fee are felting and embroidery kits and sewing tutorials which they will take home to continue to hone their skills. Ages 7 & up.
