Dave Kellogg @ The Laughing Goat

Dave Kellogg grew up in Hawaii, and his overall vibe is a reflection of that. His inspiration comes from his travels and his experiences, and his style aims to slow down time and shine some light in this complex and rapidly changing world. Like the rolling waves, his sound is simplistic and peaceful, with notions of roots reggae, folk, and blues, with heart and soul poured into every strum.
Dave’s smooth baritone vocal and laid back acoustic songwriting, combined with his island mellow vibe, makes him easy and comfortable to listen to. His minimalist approach to songwriting does not discount the meaning and soul behind both his original tunes, and the songs which he chooses to cover.
