Event Details

Ready for a laugh-inducing, edge-of-your-seat, heart-opening night of stories? Where you or the person next to you could take home the prize for best story?

Join us on Sunday, February 16 at Boulder’s Story Slam.

We’ll bring a hat (for you to put your name in), the theme, some music, and a microphone.
You bring the stories.

There will be a time limit (5 minutes) and a winner. (That’s right — competitive storytelling. The audience votes for the best story.)

Hosted by Johanna Walker, co-producer of Truth Be Told, a previous version of Boulder’s story slam. Co-hosted by multi-instrumentalist, Hal Walker, who will provide musical palette cleansers for the night (and who also happens to be Johanna’s brother)

So lean in, open your heart, grab a friend

and show up to Boulder’s Story Slam on February 16, 7pm.

Let’s tell some stories!

The theme for the night is FLY.

Did you fly across the country to propose to your beloved?
Were you caught with your fly down when giving a speech?
Was that fly in your ear your path to enlightenment?
Did you have a brilliant idea that didn’t quite fly?

Come put your name in the hat and tell us about it!
If you don’t want the mic this time, just come listen to a great night of storytelling.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Show starts at 7pm.
General Admission is $15. VIP seats $25 (reserved seats in rows 1 or 2)
