The celebrated American opera team of composer Jake Heggie and librettist Gene Scheer (“It’s A Wonderful Life,” “Moby-Dick,” “Three Decembers”) returns to CU NOW to develop “If I Were You,” a contemporary Faustian tale of identity, body swapping, love, death and deals with the devil. Sit front and center with Heggie and Scheer as they guide us through selected scenes of their bold, new opera performed by CU student singers.
