This simple to sew Coco Pattern by Tilly and the Buttons is an easy-fitting top that requires no fasteners. The classic design features your choice of a boat neckline or funnel roll neck. You will also choose between a top, tunic or dress length, three quarter or long sleeves, rolled or simple hemmed cuffs and finally patch pockets or not. This is a great introduction to sewing with knits and using a commercial sewing pattern and you’ll leave with perfect fall garment. Use velour to dress the pattern up for special events, or use a plain jersey for daily wear.

Students have the option of sewing their knit fabric on a serger or a regular sewing machine. Students should come to class with their fabric pre-washed and dried. Some sewing experience is required. Students should be able to finish the basic top in three hours, depending on the variation. Cuffs and pockets will take more time.
