The Anata Project & Summation Dance

New York City based Summation Dance, led by Sumi Clements, and San Francisco based The Anata Project, led by Claudia Anata Hubiak, come together in a shared evening of dance that dives into mind space. Clements’ “Transmute Me” explores the sociological system of habitus and the perversion of information as translated from one mind, one body to the next. Hubiak’s “Notjustmoreidlechatter” examines principles of mindfulness as the dancers physicalize the impulse of thought into bodily movement. Summation Dance is expanding its scope to Colorado where Clements has been in residence, while Boulder native Hubiak makes her return to The Dairy.
