When the world entered 2010, photos of Pluto were pixels, we had found less than 500 exoplanets, and we could only view black holes through drawings. We now pass into a new decade with high-resolution photos of our favorite dwarf planet, a catalogue of over 4,000 exoplanets, and a stunning photo of a black hole 55 million light-years away. But how did astronomy get where it is today? Join us for a tour through the universe as we look back at some of astronomy’s greatest advancements through the 2010s.
