Spring is alive and well in Boulder County — and so are our beloved farmers markets.
Boulder County Farmers Markets are back and better than ever this year, with fresh veggies, artisanal products and plenty of community to go around. Here’s where to shop and what’s in season right now.
Boulder Saturdays
The beloved Boulder Saturday market is back on Saturdays now through Nov. 19 on 13th Street between Canyon and Arapahoe. Shope from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. from vendors like Hinman Pie and WeeBee Farms. As a reminder, no pets are allowed but kiddos are encouraged — there are art activities for little ones sponsored by the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, plus live music for everyone to enjoy. Stick around for artisan shows the second week of each month: May 14, June 11, July 9, August 13, September 10 and October 8.
Boulder Wednesdays
If you forgot something during your weekend shopping or just need a little mid-week pick-me-up, head to 13th Street between Canyon and Arapahoe after work. Hours for perusing and shopping are 4 p.m. to dusk (around 8 p.m.) on Wednesdays from now through Oct. 5. There’s even a beer garden, which makes this an ideal spot for happy hour.
Longmont Saturdays
For folks living in (or visiting) northeast Boulder County, head to the Boulder County Fairgrounds on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. now through Nov. 19. Vendors at this location include Bolder Chips, Bookcliff Vineyards, SkyPilot Farm and dozens of others. Enjoy kids’ activities from the Firehouse Art Center, live music and monthly artisan shows every fourth Saturday: May 28, June 25, July 23, August 27, September 24 and October 22.
